Banana Therapy: If you can eat a ripe banana then you will get some good relief. You can also try an overripe banana as it actually helps in reducing the bad bout of acidity faster. It contains a good amount of potassium making it a perfect antidote. Some components are also present in Banana which helps in creation of mucous and offers protection from harmful effects of acidity on stomach.
Basil Leaves Therapy: Tulsi leaves helps in creation of mucous in the stomach which protects it from the harmful effect of acidity. You will get quick relief from acidity, gas and even nausea when you go for Basil leaves therapy. You can chew these leaves directly or can boil a few leaves and then let that simmer for some time and then keep sipping it frequently. To get better result you can add few drops of honey in it.
Cold Milk Therapy: Milk as we all know contains a good percentage of calcium in it which supports in preventing the acid built-up in the body. When you take cold milk then that will offer you relief faster and offers comfort from the burning sensation of acid reflux. While consuming a glass of cold milk make sure no additives or sweeteners are added in it as this will reduce the functioning capacity of the milk. For better results you can add a spoon of pure ghee in milk.
Cinnamon Therapy: Cinnamon is considered as good for stomach’s health as it works as a natural antacid and helps in relieving gas. Take half a spoon of Cinnamon powder and mix it well in a cup of water. Place it in microwave and bring the water to boiling point and then leave it for few minutes. Drink the Cinnamon water at least 3 to 4 times a day. If you don’t like the Cinnamon water then you can add the powder either in your soup or even spread it on salads for a better taste and relief.
Aniseed Therapy:
Because of the presence of high level of volatile oils in Aniseed it acts as an anti-ulcer for stomach. It helps in the digestion process as well as helps in relieving of constipation. You can rake few seeds of Aniseed and chew it well to reduce the effects of acidity in stomach. To get long term benefit, boil few seeds of Aniseed and let the water cool down overnight. Take a sip of this water when you feel uneasy with your stomach.
Cloves Therapy: Cloves help in eliminating of acidity with its carminative effect in stomach. Take 2 to 3 cloves in hand and then chew it completely so that the juice can enter your system. It will reduce the acid effect in the stomach and will also freshen up your breathe.
Apple Cider Vinegar Therapy:
The alkalizing effect of Apple Cider Vinegar will help you in treating your acidity well. Take 2 to 3 spoons of vinegar of unfiltered apple cider in one cup of water. Drink it at least twice a day for better results.
