(Also known as Anantasana)

Method

  1. Lie in supine pose and turn towards the right side.
  2. Put the palm under the right side of the head
  3. Put left hand palm on the floor near the navel
  4. Lift left leg as maximum as possible until perpendicular to the floor
  5. Stay in that posture comfortably and gradually, slowly come back to supine pose and relax

Note: Repeat on second side

Benefits

It improves elasticity of the legs and prevents sciatica and swelling in the legs. Also it smoothens the varicose veins.
